Sleep only as much as you need to feel well rested during the following day. Over sleeping can cause delayed sleep onset the following night.

Go to bed at the same time including days off work and get up at the same time – our sleep-wake cycle is regulated by a biological 24 hour clock in our brain and regular sleeping and waking times strengthen it’s function.

Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, such as soaking in a warm bath, reading a book or listening to soothing music. This will help calm the mind and relax the body, helping you to fall asleep more easily.
